Master Specialization: Cybersecurity
Graduates of cybersecurity specialization will be able to analyze weak points of computer systemas and prevent possible security threats. Due to the increasing complexity and variability of attacks against traditional networks (and increasingly against telecommunication networks, control systems in vehicles and conventional electronics), the students will be prepared to solve newly discovered and previously undocumented problems as well.
Graduates will be skilled in selected areas of software engineering, network technology and statistical modeling with an emphasis on technology-specific areas including the mechanisms of infections and attacks, encryption, sandboxing, forensic analysis, penetration testing, detection and defense against detection and methods of signature and behavioral detection.
Graduates will find employment especially in the private sector. This specialization also provides sufficient base for doctoral studies.
