Minor Software Engineering provides a deeper understanding of the universal principles of developing efficient, reliable, maintainable software. This Minor excellently complements other more closely profiled fields of Open Informatics - the ability to create quality software is useful in implementing any computer system.

Passage through study

Minor specialization consists of the following courses:

  • Software Quality Assurance B4M36ZKS, which familiarizes students with advanced software testing and quality assurance techniques.
  • Software Architectures B4M36SWA, which will acquaint students with the principles of architecture design of larger software systems.
  • Database Systems II B4M36DS2, which cobers new trends in database systems, especially Big Data.

From the other three courses of Software Engineering students choose according to their personal interest and main profile.
